PROVO, Utah, Oct. 1, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — A “Celebration of Light” Women’s Health Fair and Clinic is happening from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. today and Wednesday at the Utah County Health and Justice Building, at 151 S. University Ave., in Suites 1600 and 1709.
The health fair offers women, ages 40 to 74, free services, information, fun and prizes, a news release from the Utah County Health Department says.
“Free screenings by appointment only include breast exams, pap smears, and free mammogram vouchers. The Huntsman Cancer Institute’s Mobile Cancer Screening & Education bus will be on site to provide mammograms,” the news release says.
No appointment is needed for kidney function tests, vision screenings, skin cancer checks, body mass index checks, blood pressure tests, cancer prevention education, information about how to sign up for health insurance, manicures, and other services provided by vendors.
