Friday Funeral For LDS Leader L. Tom Perry To Be Shown On Gephardt Daily

SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH – June 5, 2015 (Gephardt Daily) –

Funeral services for Elder L. Tom Perry, a longtime member of the Quorum of Twelve Apostles of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, will be held streamed live on Gephardt Daily. The funeral services will be held at the Tabernacle on Temple Square and are scheduled for today – Friday, June 5, 2015 at 11 a.m. MDT.Elder Perry passed away May 30th in Salt Lake City at the age of 92. He had been recently diagnosed with thyroid cancer.

According to LDSnewsroom.org: Temple Square gates and the Tabernacle doors will open at 9:30 a.m. Those wishing to attend should be in their seats by 10:30 a.m. Overflow seating will be available in the Assembly Hall and the North Visitors’ Center on Temple Square. The Church campus buildings will be closed at 10:30 a.m. and will reopen following the funeral at 1 p.m.

A private burial service will take place at the Salt Lake City Cemetery following the funeral.
