WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah, June 12, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — A man is being booked on homicide charges after police say he caused his grandfather to suffer fatal injuries.
Jason Northrup, 35, has been charged in the death of Sherral Northrup, 80, of West Valley City.
In a statement, West Valley City Police officials say the younger Northrup is believed to have pushed his grandfather Tuesday morning at a residence near 3000 West and 2900 South.
Sherral Northrup died at a local hospital as a result of head injuries.
Jason Northrup is being charged with first-degree homicide, the WVCPD statement says.
