UTAH – October 26, 2015 (Gephardt Daily) – Heber City Police are warning Utahns not to fall for a pizza scam that is making the rounds.

The Police Department said: “a person claiming to be an employee of a local pizza restaurant calls your phone to tell you that your spouse ordered pizza but their credit card was denied. The pizza employee asks for another credit card number to pay for the pizza. If you give your credit card number, you are out money and the pizza, because your spouse did not order pizza in the first place. Again, please do not give your credit card number to anyone that calls you.”
