HELPER, Utah, Jan. 20, 2025 (Gephardt Daily) — A Helper City Police officer was hospitalized after another vehicle struck the back of the stopped patrol vehicle, the department said in a Sunday news release.
“While one of our officers was parked stationary on SR-6, another vehicle collided into the rear of our officer’s vehicle while the officer was seated in the driver’s seat,” the statement says.
“Our officer was transported to the hospital in stable condition. The crash investigation is being handled by the Utah Highway Patrol. The condition of the officer may be released at a later time.”
