MURRAY, UTAH – September 4, 2015 (Gephardt Daily) A high rise billboard, owned by Reagan Advertising, fell from it’s structure in Murray and right on top of the vehicle parked underneath it.

Dakota Ogden of West Jordan was at work when he heard a very loud crash come from the parking lot. He had no idea what it was but said his co-workers, who actually watched the billboard fall right onto the roof of his 2009 Subaru Impreza WRX.  “I only heard it actually crash, it came down very hard,” said Dakota. “I literally had no idea at that exact moment what to do.”

Dakota car was parked in the PC Laptops parking lot, located at 5324 South State Street in Murray, when a gust of wind caused what should have been a seemingly sturdy billboard to fall nearly 30 feet and land on his roof.

Although Dakota admits he was really upset and is unsure if the car is repairable because it has bent the roof and put holes in the metal, Reagan Advertising has accepted full responsibility and his car was towed at their expense. “They did get me a rental car and will be paying for all the repairs,” said Dakota. “I just really want to know how this happened, why it happened, and I am just really glad no one got hurt.”

A representative from Reagan Advertising was not available at this time for comment.
