UTAH COUNTY, Utah, June 21, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — A hiker who failed to return Tuesday as expected from a Mt. Timpanogos trek was found safe early Thursday morning.
Deputies and members of the Utah County Search & Rescue team located the 56-year-old man, whose name has not been released, at 2:30 a.m. Thursday.
“He is dehydrated and tired, but should be OK,” said a 4:52 a.m. tweet from Utah County Sheriff’s spokesman Spencer Cannon.
“Rescuers are working their way down with him now.”
