COTTONWOOD HEIGHTS, Utah, Dec. 8, 2015 (Gephardt Daily) – Crews have fixed a water main break in Cottonwood Heights which caused temporary interruptions to the water supply.

Salt Lake City Public Utilities workers responded to 3570 East Summer Oaks Cir. (7920 South) after they were alerted to water in the road at around 7 a.m.

Deputy director of Public Utilities Tom Ward said no homes were evacuated, but there is a sinkhole in the public roadway with mud and debris.

Officials said the pipe has now been repaired and the water is back on. Restoration of the sinkhole will take a few days.
