HURRICANE, Utah, Nov. 17, 2024 (Gephardt Daily) — Hurricane Valley Fire & Rescue crews responded to a call of a house fire Sunday morning.
“Just after 10 a.m., our crews were dispatched to reports of a structure fire,” the news release says.
“Occupants inside the home were able to exit the structure after they were alerted by working smoke detectors. The first crew to make entry encountered moderate smoke inside of the home.
“After a quick search, they were able to locate the fire, which was in a pantry inside the home. Crews quickly knocked down the fire and checked for any further extension.”
No injuries were reported, the statement says.
“The cause of the fire is still under investigation. E42, E43, L41, L46, M46, M43, and BC43 all responded to this incident as well as the Hurricane City Police Department.”
