LEHI, Utah, Jan. 25, 2021 (Gephardt Daily) — Southbound Interstate 15 has reopened in the Lehi area after shots were fired Monday morning.

“Driver Alert: SB I-15 is closed near 2100 North in Lehi (MP 282) due to an incident,” said an initial tweet from the Utah Department of Transportation. “Expect heavy delays through the area and use an alternate route if possible.”

Utah Highway Patrol officials said the incident was most likely a hit-and-run that also involved a shooting.

Officials said all suspects are in custody.

Gephardt Daily will have more on this developing story as information is made available.
