I-215 East at 3300 South closed due to ‘significant flooding’

SALT LAKE COUNTY, Utah, Aug. 18, 2021 (Gephardt Daily) — A section of I-215 East at 3300 South is closed due to flooding Wednesday afternoon.

“We are experiencing some significant flooding on I-215 East at 3300 South,” said a tweet from Utah Highway Patrol at 2:45 p.m. “The freeway is currently closed, use alternate routes.”

The Utah Department of Transportation tweeted that the freeway is closed at mile post 1, which is 3300 South.

“Expect delays in the area and avoid the area if possible,” the tweet said.
