IRON COUNTY, Utah, July 20, 2024 (Gephardt Daily) — Crews from multiple agencies responded to a Parowan Valley barn fire that also burned two acres of sagebrush and threatened a nearby building.
The call came to dispatch at 3:19 p.m. Saturday. Crews responded to the area of 200 South and 3700 West.
“The fire, which originated in a single-level barn, spread to the surrounding yard and threatened a nearby residential structure,” says a news release issued by the Iron County Sheriff’s Office.
“The barn contained several vehicles, and fortunately, no injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
Other agencies that responded include Parowan Fire, Brian Head Fire, Paragonah Fire, Color Country Fire and Rocky Mountain Power.
