SMITHFIELD, Utah, Oct. 11, 2016 (Gephardt Daily) — A fight at a Smithfield high school left one juvenile with serious injuries and another charged with aggravated assault, according to police.
A Facebook post from the Cache County Sheriff’s Office said officials investigated an altercation between two boys on Oct. 7 at Sky View High School, 520 S. 250 East.
“The incident left one of the juveniles with serious injuries,” the Facebook post said. “After a thorough investigation, the Sheriff’s Office charged one of the juveniles with aggravated assault and booked the juvenile into juvenile detention.”
The news release did not specify the ages of the boys involved. It added that officials are not able to give further details of the case because it did involve two juveniles.
