Kaysville Goldenwest C.U. robbed Saturday morning

KAYSVILLE, Utah, Feb. 11, 2017 (Gephardt Daily) — Goldenwest Credit Union in Kaysville was robbed this morning, and police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect.

According to a news release from Kaysville Police Department, the robbery occurred at 8:27 a.m. at the credit union at 131 W. 200 North.

A man wearing dark pants, a dark hoodie, dark ball cap, camouflage face mask and sunglasses came into the building and demanded money.

The suspect displayed a handgun during the robbery. After the robbery, the man ran east on foot.

No one was harmed during this incident.

Several surrounding police agencies assisted in the search for the suspect, but as of late this afternoon, no one had been taken into custody.
