PARLEYS CANYON, Utah, Sept. 7, 2020 (Gephardt Daily) — Lanes are closed on westbound Interstate 80 through Parleys Canyon Monday afternoon after a boat came off a trailer.
“Westbound I-80 through Parleys Canyon is stop-and-go traffic right now after a boat came off its trailer and is blocking three lanes at the summit at mile marker 138,” said a tweet from Utah Highway Patrol at 5:15 p.m. “Utilize I-84 westbound to East Canyon, or use Park City or Midway to access Guardsman Pass to Big Cottonwood Canyon.”
A follow-up tweet added: “Keep in mind that travel on Guardsman Pass Road is not advisable for vehicles towing trailers.”
