Update: Power restored to more than 13,000 customers in central Utah

SANPETE, SEVIER COUNTY, Utah, March 29, 2017 (Gephardt Daily) — More than 13,000 customers were without power in the central Utah counties of Sanpete and Sevier Wednesday morning.

The affected towns and cities were Annabella, Central Valley, Gunnison, Mayfield, Monroe, Sterling and surrounding areas, according to the Rocky Mountain Power website, and a total of approximately 13,400 customers were without power.

Crews were dispatched and power was restored at approximately 11 a.m. The cause of the outage is under investigation.
