EAGLE MOUNTAIN, Utah, July 12, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — Federal agents have arrested the last two of 15 men indicted this spring for running a drug-selling operation.
Officials believe the group hid its activities and meetings by presenting itself as a band, called Glennmob, which posted several music videos to YouTube.
FBI agents took David Silva, 26, and Sipriano Molina, 21, into custody Wednesday after locating them in an Eagle Mountain home, an FBI statement says.
In May, Silva, Molina and 13 other men were charged with conspiracy to distribute meth. Agents seized 15 pounds of methamphetamine, along with a half pound of marijuana, three vehicles, 15 guns and $26,000 in cash.
Officials say Glennmob is a street gang that associates with other gangs.
The others charged in the case are Daniel Silva, 26; Abraham Sanchez, 22; Angel Rivera, 25; Cameron Lucas, 19; Melissa Kelly, 32; Kenneth Reyos, 20; Dominic Trujillo, 23; David Miramontes, 32; Nick Vigil, 31; Jesus Alvarado, 31; Salvador Tafolla, 26; Juan Noriega, 34; Tranqulino Reyos, 23; and Fabien Uriel Tapia-Bustamante, 18. All are residents of the Salt Lake Valley.
