Layton Auto-Wheelchair Victim Identified; Driver Not Charged

LAYTON, Utah, Jan. 12, 2016 (Gephardt Daily) ─ A man in a wheelchair who was hit by a car and killed in Layton Monday morning has been identified.

According to Layton police, Adam Brimhall, 42, of Clearfield, was crossing the street near 2080 N. Main Street just before 7 a.m. when he was struck by a northbound vehicle.

Brimhall was taken to Davis Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Police said Brimhall was not in a crosswalk when he was hit.

Layton City Police announced on Twitter Tuesday no charges against the driver will be brought at this time.
