LAYTON, Utah, Oct. 25, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — Officials say they are one step closer to locating two men suspected of leaving Dillard’s in Layton with armloads of clothes earlier this week.

The Layton City Police Department initially posted on Facebook Thursday morning:

“Here’s another case we could use some help with. These men are suspected of running out of Dillard’s with armloads of clothes on Tuesday, Oct. 22.” The Dillard’s in question is inside Layton Hills Mall at 1201 N. Hill Field Road.

The department then updated the post an hour later to say tips had come in identifying the men as Roddy Montes and Sebastian Godinez.

“We could still use some help locating them so if you know where they are, please let us know, and thank you for the tips,” the follow-up post said.

Anyone who knows either of the suspects is asked to call the Layton PD on 801-497-8300 and reference incident #18-16794.
