LAYTON, Utah, Jan. 24, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — Layton police are searching for a person of interest after a handgun was stolen from the glove box of a Lyft driver.

A Facebook post from Layton City Police Department said: “We need some help identifying this man who is alleged to have stolen a handgun from the glove box of his Lyft driver late on the night of Jan. 10.”

Officials said the man is only wanted for questioning at this time.

The man shown in a photograph is Caucasian, with dark red hair and a mustache. He is wearing a baseball hat with a Chicago Bulls logo, and a black hoodie with a Pittsburgh Steelers logo.
