LEHI, Utah, March 4, 2016 (Gephardt Daily) — A Lehi 13-year-old who calls herself The Piano Gal has posted a musical tribute to John Williams on YouTube.
Sara Arkell’s video ─ which went up Friday and is subtitled “Star Wars & More” ─ had earned nearly 900 views in its first 10 hours online.
In total, she has 29 musical videos on YouTube. The petite redhead plays many on a grand piano that dwarfs her by comparison.
Besides excerpts from Williams’ scores for film franchises such as “Star Wars,” “Jurassic Park” and “Indiana Jones,” the video includes selected costumes and props that add visual fun.
Sara’s 5-minute video is entered in an online contest, and she hopes to earn votes to help her win.
