LITTLE COTTONWOOD CANYON, Utah, Nov. 25, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — Little Cottonwood Canyon is closed early Monday afternoon due to a rolled vehicle and multiple other crashes.

A tweet from UDOT Cottonwood Canyons at 11:45 a.m. said the canyon is closed to both up and downhill traffic after a truck overturned at mile post eight.

It’s not clear at this time if anyone has been injured as a result of the rollover. In addition, UDOT is dealing with other crashes in the same area.

A tweet at 11:30 a.m., prior to the rollover said: “Unified Police Department and UDOT road crews are working to clear accidents in Little Cottonwood Canyon between mile post eight and nine. PLEASE drive with caution.”

In Big Cottonwood Canyon, there is a slide off to the right at Solitude entry one, and drivers are being urged to use caution.

Gephardt Daily will have more on this developing story as information is made available.
