LOGAN, Utah, Sept. 24, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — A Logan man has been booked into the Cache County Jail after investigators said they found evidence that he had made inappropriate photos and videos of an 11-year-old girl.

Emanual Zamora, 18, was arrested on Friday and has been charged with eight counts of sexual exploitation of a minor, a second-degree felony.

According to a probable cause statement, Homeland Security Investigation officials in Ogden received a lead in the case, and a search warrant was served on the suspect’s Logan apartment by members of the FBI Child Exploitation Task Force.

Zamora had posted photographs of the child napping in her underwear, and posted them on a pornography sharing site, commenting about possibly abusing the subject, the statement says.

The probable cause statement states that Zamora confessed to taking the photos.

Videos found in a file on Zamora’s phone also showed the same girl in various stages of undress as she changed her clothes, the statement says. The videos seem to have been taken without the child’s knowledge, the statement writer noted.

The timestamp shows the file was created three days before Zamora’s arrest.
