Logan City PD asks for more leads on Pride Center flag theft

LOGAN, Utah, Sept. 24, 2024 (Gephardt Daily) — Logan City police have announced one juvenile to face charges for stealing a Pride flag, and are asking for leads on a second suspect.

“On 9/23/2024 Logan Police Investigations referred a 16-year-old male to First District Juvenile Court on theft and criminal mischief charges relating to the cutting down and stealing the flags in front of the Logan Pride foundation building,” the LCPD statement says. “Both charges were enhanced under the Utah hate crime statute.

The department statement thanked the public for its help identifying the juvenile.

“However, there remains one unidentified suspect and case remains active,” the Logan City Police statement says. “If anyone has any additional information to help this case, please contact Logan Police at the non-emergency number 435-753-7555.”
