Logan police seek woman suspected of retail theft

LOGAN, Utah, Nov. 26, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — Logan police are searching for a woman who allegedly stole items from a retail store last month.

Logan City Police said in a Facebook post the thefts occurred on Oct. 9.

“The lady in this photograph went into a local retail store,” the post said. “While in the store she removed many items from display and concealed them on her person. She then left the store without paying for the items. When store security attempted to stop her, she became non-compliant and fled on foot.”

The woman in surveillance photos is Caucasian, with dark hair pulled back, and is wearing a black shirt, green jacket and has a white lanyard around her neck.

Anyone who recognizes the woman or has information about the incident is asked to call Officer Crotts at 435-716-9487 and leave a message on his voicemail. Callers can remain anonymous.
