SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, Dec. 2, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — A Salt Lake City man was arrested after officials said he texted with a person he believed to be 13 years old to arrange to meet for the purpose of engaging in illegal activity.

Andrew Creston Black, 26, is facing one count of second-degree felony enticing a minor by Internet or text, according to a probable cause statement from Utah’s 3rd District Court.

“A/P (accused person) first began texting the person who he believed to be 13 years old over a month ago on a internet app used for dating and meeting people,” the statement said. “A/P asked the person who he believed to be 13 to engage in oral sex and to have sex with another person who was 14 years old in a threesome. ”

Black then allegedly went to an address in Salt Lake City with a 14-year-old juvenile to meet with the person who he believed to be 13 years old. Upon arrival, he was arrested.

After being read his Miranda rights, Black admitted that he sent the text messages and did travel with the 14-year-old to meet with the person who he believed to be 13 years old.

Bail for Black has been set at $25,000.
