MURRAY, Utah, Dec. 29, 2024 (Gephardt Daily) — Police in Murray are investigating a Saturday night auto-pedestrian crash which sent a man to the hospital in critical condition.
First responders were dispatched to the crash site near 4500 South and 700 East about 9 p.m.
Murray PD Sgt. Malouf told Gephardt Daily the adult male victim was struck in the eastbound lanes of 4500 South, on the south side of the road; a place “where there is no crosswalk, in an area that is poorly lit.”
According to Malouf, the male driver of the vehicle involved in the crash “remained on scene and was cooperating with investigators.”
Malouf confirmed the crash victim was in critical condition, but said his injuries were not life-threatening.
