DRAPER, Utah, May 11, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — Police are investigating a single-vehicle crash that occurred outside of the State Liquor Store in Draper late Friday night.

Draper Police Sgt. Upchurch told Gephardt Daily the man’s car was “out of park” and crashed into a tree near the store at 14445 Minuteman Drive.

Upchurch said bystanders pulled the man from the vehicle and first-aid was administered until Draper Fire Department EMTs arrived.

Emergency crews transported the man to the hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.

No one else was injured, and no other vehicles were involved.

The incident is still under investigation, but Upchurch said it appears that the driver may have had a medical issue that led to the crash.
