NAPLES, Utah, May 21, 2024 (Gephardt Daily) — A 41-year-old man died in what is believed to be a single-vehicle rollover accident in Uintah County, near Naples and Vernal.
Uintah Basin dispatch was alerted to the crash, near mile marker 33 on State Route 45, at 12:08 a.m.
“The Dodge Ram was traveling south on SR-45 down a hill and crossed over the centerline, leaving the roadway to the left and rolling,” a Utah Highway Patrol statement says.
“The 41-year-old male driver and sole occupant of the vehicle was not wearing a seatbelt and was deceased on scene. The northbound lane was blocked for emergency vehicles and recovery.”
