SOUTH SALT LAKE, Utah, March 3, 2021 (Gephardt Daily) — A man is in critical condition after being hit by a car in South Salt Lake.
According to South Salt Lake Police officials, the incident occurred in the area of Claybourne Avenue and State Street at approximately 9:30 p.m. Tuesday. The man, who is in his 50s, was crossing in an area with no traffic lights.
Officials said the driver stayed at the scene, and impairment is not thought to be a factor in the crash.
An investigation into the incident is underway.
