Man in critical condition after auto-pedestrian crash on Interstate 80

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, April 7, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — A man is in critical condition after being hit by a car on eastbound Interstate 80 in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Utah Highway Patrol officials said the incident occurred on I-80 in the area of the North Temple on-ramp, which is at 3200 West, at approximately 1:50 a.m.

A man was crossing the road and was hit, officials said.

He was transported to Intermountain Medical Center in Murray in Delta, or critical condition.

It’s not clear at this early stage why the man was crossing the road.
