Man in serious condition after Taylorsville auto-pedestrian crash

TAYLORSVILLE, Utah, March 4, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — A 56-year-old man is in serious condition after being hit by a car in Taylorsville early Monday morning.

The Unified Police Department said in a tweet the pedestrian was crossing 5400 South at 3860 West when he was struck by an eastbound car just before 6:45 a.m.

“This pedestrian was not in a crosswalk and was struck by a car in the outside lane travelling at approximately 30 mph,” the tweet said. “His condition is listed as serious.”

No further details were immediately available.
