SOUTH SALT LAKE, UTAH – November 9, 2015 (Gephardt Daily) – A contractor installing solar panels at a South Salt Lake City business was killed Monday morning.
According to Unified Police Detective Jared Richardson, the accident happened on top of the Keyston building at 3929 South 500 West just after 11 a.m. when 57-year-old Larry Nickell fell through the skylight. “He fell approximately 30 feet,” Richardson said. “Others at the scene attempted to perform CPR but he succumbed to his injuries.”
Richardson said the man’s son-in-law was with him at the time of the accident.
The incident is still under investigation.
