AMERICAN FORK, Utah, Nov.19, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — A 64-year-old man was killed Monday evening after being struck by a hit-and-run driver in American Fork.
According to a statement by American Fork PD, the incident happened about 8 p.m. when the victim was struck on a darkened stretch of road near 280 E. Main Street.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police described the suspect vehicle as a white 2000-2006 Dodge Ram pickup with a camouflaged camping shell.
The driver did not stop at the time of the accident and police say they may not have realized that he’d hit someone.
