Man killed in West Valley City rollover crash

WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah, Oct. 13, 2017 (Gephardt Daily) — A 58-year-old man died Friday afternoon in a single-vehicle rollover accident.

West Valley City Police Sgt. Anthony Chapman said the crash occurred at about 2:30 p.m.

The driver, Easa Mohammad, was ejected from his vehicle after it crashed into a tree and a fire hydrant at 1592 W. 3100 South, Chapman said.

Mohammad was pronounced dead at the scene. He was the the vehicle’s only occupant.

Chapman said the incident is still under investigation, and it isn’t yet known what caused the vehicle to leave the roadway.
