OGDEN, Utah, Nov. 26, 2017 (Gephardt Daily) — An 18-year-old man is in the hospital after he was shot Sunday afternoon in Lorin Farr Park.

Ogden Police Lt. Clint Christensen told Gephardt Daily the incident took place at about 1:50 p.m.

Officers arrived to find the victim on the sidewalk. He had been shot four times by someone in a vehicle, Christensen said.

He said the victim’s wounds were in his lower extremities; however, the injuries were not life-threatening.

The teen was transported to the hospital, where he underwent surgery.

“The victim is not forthcoming with information,” Christensen said, so police currently do not have a description of the suspect or the suspect’s vehicle, and the motive for the shooting is not known.

The incident is under investigation by Ogden Police detectives.
