WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah, Sept. 7, 2016 (Gephardt Daily) — A man who died after being struck by a vehicle while crossing the street Tuesday night in West Valley City has been identified.
Louis Gregg, 53, was killed in the accident, which happened at about 8 p.m. at 4580 W. 3500 South.
Sgt. Jay Horner, West Valley City Police Department, said Gregg was not crossing at a traffic light.
Horner said at this early point in the investigation, drugs and alcohol did not seem to be factors contributing to the accident.
