Man who left care center without medication sought by Sandy police

SANDY, Utah, Nov. 7, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — The Sandy Police Department has issued a missing-person alert for a man who left an assisted living center Wednesday morning without his medication.

Police are looking for 56-year-old Jeff Jeffery, seen leaving Country Lane Assisted Living, 8670 S. Vauna Lee St., at 10 a.m.

Jeffery is described as 5 feet 10 inches tall and 137 pounds. He has green eyes and salt-and-pepper hair. He was wearing a red and blue jacket with blue jeans and tan work boots.

He is known to visit Walmart in Sandy on Quarry Bend, 7-Eleven on 8600 S. 1300 East and to take Trax to Pioneer Park.

Anyone with information on Jeffery’s whereabouts is asked to call Sandy Police officials at 801-799-3000. Refer to case SA18-52073.
