MOAB, Utah, Nov. 29, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — Two people are dead and a third injured after falling at Arches National Park outside Moab.
According to park officials, a 65-year-old man and his 60-year-old spouse were killed in an early morning fall in the dome area below the famed Delicate Arch.
A third victim, identified as a man in his 30s, was injured in the fall and flown by medical helicopter to Moab Regional Hospital.
Rangers say all three victims were from California. Their names are being withheld pending notification of family members.
The original call for help came in about 7:30 a.m.
The cause of the fall has yet to be determined.
