WEST JORDAN, Utah, Feb. 19, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — West Jordan Police responded to a call about a robbery at Wingstop late Sunday night and will be reviewing surveillance video as part of their investigation.

WJPD Sgt. Turner told Gephardt Daily that a man and a woman entered the store, at 1826 W. 9000 South, at about 11:30 p.m., just as the employees were about to lock up.

Turner said both suspects wore bandannas over their faces — his red and hers blue.

Both were armed with handguns.

They demanded money from the cashier and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.

No one was injured in the incident.

Turner said no vehicle was seen, but the newly fallen snow enabled officers to follow the suspects’ footprints around the building to the tracks of a vehicle’s tires.

The man and woman are described as in their early to mid-20s, possibly Hispanic, and of “average” height and weight.

Turner said police will have a better description after they’ve had a chance to review the surveillance video.

Anyone with any information about this robbery is asked to call West Jordan Police at 801-840-4000.
