SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, Dec. 26, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — Salt Lake City police are investigating after a man’s body was found in the snow off North Temple in Salt Lake City on Wednesday morning.

The body was found near 1500 W. North Temple, just outside of the Utah Department of Natural Resources’ building, Detective Michael Ruff, Salt Lake City Police Department, told Gephardt Daily.

Ruff said at this time there is no information about who located the body, but it appears that the deceased person had been in that location for at least a few hours, and possibly since Tuesday night.

He added that there is nothing that obviously indicates the man’s cause of death. A homicide unit has been called to the scene and is investigating.

Ruff said that no further information is available about the deceased man’s age or identity.

Gephardt Daily has a crew at the scene and will update this developing story as information is made available.
