WEBER COUNTY, Utah, Aug. 20, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — Crews responded to a fire at an abandoned structure in Marriott-Slaterville on Monday morning.

Weber Fire District tweeted at 7 a.m. that crews were on the scene of the blaze in the area of 1500 W. 200 South.

The abandoned residence was 80 percent involved when crews arrived, the tweet said.

Witnesses said they saw someone leaving in a vehicle just after the fire started. The exact cause is still being investigated.

No one was injured as a result of the blaze.
