'5-Hour Energy' Robber Who Targets Maverik

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, Dec. 29, 2015 (Gephardt Daily) — Police are looking for a robber who targeted a Maverik gas station and made off with cash and numerous bottles of 5-hour Energy drink.

Salt Lake City Police said the robbery happened at the Maverik Adventure’s First Stop located at 710 E. 2700 South Monday at 11:13 p.m.

Police said the convenience store clerk was approached by the suspect, who had his hand inside the pocket of his hoodie, intimating a handgun. The suspect demanded the cash from the till.  The clerk complied, and before the suspect left, he also grabbed several 5-hour Energy bottles from the display on the counter.

The suspect was described as having medium build and wearing a gray hoodie, a black mask, and black pants and gloves.
