MILLARD COUNTY, Utah, Aug. 21, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — Both directions of State Route 50 are closed Tuesday morning after flooding in Millard County.

Utah Department of Transportation tweeted SR-50 at mile post 140, 10 miles east of the I-15 Scipio Junction, is closed in both directions.

Officials did not say when the road is likely to reopen.

Northbound I-15 was also shut down five miles north of Holden Tuesday morning, but has since reopened.

Utah Emergency Management tweeted that there is a flash flood watch in effect for portions of Utah on Tuesday.

“Please watch the weather and forecasts if you are in the areas in green (see map below) today or near burn scars,” the tweet said.
