MILLCREEK, Utah, Feb. 13, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — Unified Police Department detectives in the Millcreek precinct are looking to identify the two suspects they believe are responsible for a string of residential burglaries.
Detectives believe the pair, one of whom is seen above in surveillance video, are responsible for several burglaries in the Canyon Rim area of Millcreek, the UPD said in a news release on Facebook.
Millcreek precinct officers were dispatched to a home burglary at 5 p.m. on Jan. 14, the news release said.
“The home was burglarized through a rear door and several items were taken,” the news release said. “Around the same time, another homeowner called police to report suspicious activity.”
At 5:30 p.m., at a separate residence, a man rang the doorbell of the home which activated a security video system. The security system captured a man going to the garage area of the home, getting on his stomach, and peering through a partially opened garage.
He then left in a silver Nissan Pathfinder driven by another unidentified person. This home was not burglarized, but detectives believe these suspects may be responsible for the burglary that occurred at 5 p.m. on that day, and possibly more.
The man in the video is described as a light skinned, skinny and bald. He’s wearing a short sleeved plaid shirt, with a black hoodie underneath, black jeans and black sneakers with white soles.
