Salt Lake City Bar Employee Beaten With Pool Cue During Robbery

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, April 13, 2016 (Gephardt Daily) — An employee of a Salt Lake City bar was beaten with a pool cue when he confronted three men who were attempting to commit a robbery, officials said.

Salt Lake City Police  said in a news release the incident happened at Mixed Emotions club at 1030 S. State St. at 12:26 a.m. Wednesday morning.

The news release said: “An employee was closing the bar when three men tried to enter. As the employee confronted the men one of them struck him several times with a pool cue. The employee ran to a back room and called police. When he emerged he found that money from the cash register was missing.”

The suspects are described as two white males and one black male adult, all in their early 20s.
