MORGAN COUNTY, Utah, Feb. 12, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — Morgan County Sheriff’s deputies and Utah Highway Patrol responded Sunday to a call about a semi truck driving recklessly on Interstate 84.
According to a sheriff’s office Facebook post, when a deputy found the truck, it was swerving all over the road.
The deputy was able to stop the truck near the Croydon exit.
“The driver was so intoxicated on drugs and alcohol that he could not stand to perform sobriety tests,” the post says.
The driver was arrested and booked into jail for:
- DUI second offense
- Open container
- Possession of a controlled substance
- Alcohol restricted driver
- Operating a commercial vehicle with alcohol in the vehicle
