The accident happened Tuesday afternoon about 1:30 p.m. on 400 South between 500 West and 700 West.

Salt Lake City police public information officer Greg Wilking said the motorcycle and another vehicle collided while headed westbound on 400 South and that excessive speed may have been a factor in the accident.

Wilking said two men who were in the vehicle were treated for minor injuries at the scene.
