SPRINGDALE, Utah, Dec. 15, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — Police are asking residents to be alert after a mountain lion was spotted in Springdale, close to Zion National Park.
“We would like to alert everyone to be aware for the safety of your families and pets,” said a post from Springdale Police Department. “If feasible, try to keep your pets indoors, especially at night.”
Springdale police are working closely with the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources.
Anyone who spots a mountain lion is asked to contact Springdale PD on 435-634-5730.
