Multiple agencies battle blaze in N. Ogden storage building

NORTH OGDEN, Utah, Dec. 29, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — Crews from North View Fire District and other agencies responded to a blaze on the 700 East block of 2600 North late Saturday afternoon.

A storage building was burning and was already “heavily involved” before firefighters arrived at about 4 p.m., according to information from NVFD.

Firefighters initiated defensive operations, assisted by crews from Weber, Ogden, and Plain City, along with multiple police agencies.

The Red Cross was on scene to aid the fire crews, which were not only battling the fire but the cold temperatures as well.

No injuries were reported as a result of this fire.

Dominion energy and Rocky Mountain Power are at the scene, and the public is being asked to avoid the area.
